A leading global insurance broker is seeking a Finance Business Partner to partner with one of their key lines of business. This role sits at the heart of commercial decision‑making, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive performance, optimise cost structures, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end ownership of P&L performance for a UK line of business
- Partner with business leaders to provide clear analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations
- Lead budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, and long‑range planning cycles
- Translate financial results into impactful commercial insight
- Collaborate with the outsourced accounting team to ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Support pricing, portfolio performance reviews, and margin optimisation
- Build business cases, scenario models, and profitability analyses
- Present financial performance to senior stakeholders, including the UK Exec
- Support various change initiatives and projects
Role Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with strong commercial FP&A / FBP experience
- Proven track record managing a full P&L, ideally within insurance, broking, or wider financial services
- Comfortable operating in complex, matrixed, global environments
- Strong modelling skills and the ability to distill complexity into clear, actionable insight
- Confident influencing challenging senior non‑finance leaders
This is a permanent appointment paying £75,000-£85,000 + bonus + benefits. You'll be based in the London office on a hybrid basis.
