Procurement Manager – IT

Location: Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)

Salary: £45k – £55k + Package (may have room to £60k for the right candidate)

We’re supporting a leading UK organisation seeking a Procurement Manager to strengthen its central procurement function and deliver value across key spend areas including IT, digital and consulting services.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you’ll manage the full end-to-end process – from sourcing strategy and tendering through to supplier negotiation, contract award and ongoing relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex procurement projects in line with corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Develop category strategies that drive cost efficiency, value for money and innovation.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business to align procurement activity with strategic objectives.
  • Manage supplier performance and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Prepare robust tender documentation and ensure full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Conduct spend analysis, benchmarking and market insight to inform sourcing and negotiation strategy.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in IT procurement within a complex organisation.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ideally experience or understanding of regulations such as PA23 and UCR.
  • Confident managing end-to-end sourcing and supplier management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and good data fluency.
  • Ideally CIPS qualified (or working towards).
