JSS are delighted to be partnering a leading employer of choice, based in Coventry. JSS are recruiting an Interim Finance Analyst who will be a key member of the team supporting on the following:

  • Financial reporting, analysis & financial support with a focus on both Opex & Capex
  • Financial modelling and forecasting

The Financial Analyst role based in Coventry will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the month-end close process, including journal postings, P&L and Capex reviews, and the management of accruals and prepayments
  • Analyse cost variances and assist in updating forecasts and budgets to reflect the latest cost information
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of insightful financial reporting
  • Ensure cost and revenue reconciliations align with expected or agreed targets
  • Build strong relationships across the team to support thorough cost analysis and provide meaningful commentary
  • Support all budgeting and forecasting activities for both Opex and Capex

Profile:

  • (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) or QBE
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong analytical abilities with a track record of delivering insightful reporting and supporting key decision-making across functions
  • High attention to detail, with the capability to clearly communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and a strong drive to support and lead positive change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
