Overview
Principal Consultant – Tax with JSS Search – Specializing in finding new opportunities for tax professionals. JSS Tax are hiring an in-house Indirect Tax Manager for a leading technology business based in Hertfordshire near Hatfield (supporting 3 days per week remote working). This is a permanent role paying circa £60k-£85k plus bonus and benefits package.
The Indirect Tax Manager will take on a UK-focused role but will also support on European / cross-border tax matters. The role includes a healthy mix of advisory, business partnering, project work, hands-on compliance review, mentoring junior staff, and systems/process improvement work. In addition to Indirect Tax, there is an opportunity to work on UK direct tax matters (such as corporation tax and transfer pricing); prior direct tax experience is not required. This is a strong fit for someone seeking their first in-house tax role or someone with prior industry experience seeking a broader in-house role closer to home with improved remuneration / work-life balance.
