Principal Consultant – Tax

JSS Tax are hiring for an in‑house Employment Tax Advisor for a leading leisure company based in Watford with hybrid working arrangements.

This newly‑created permanent full‑time role pays circa £60,000‑£80,000 plus 15% bonus and benefits package.

Reporting into the Senior Tax Manager, the Employment Tax Advisor will take on a UK focused employment tax role with a mix of responsibilities:

  • PAYE and PSA returns
  • P11D’s and P46s
  • IR35
  • Employee expenses analysis

On top of this, the role includes indirect tax work covering VAT returns, VAT coding and reverse charge reports.

This role involves hands‑on compliance in the above areas, but also includes a high percentage of advisory work, business partnering and responding to employment tax queries from across the group.

Ideal for someone with UK employment tax experience looking for an in‑house role with a strong advisory element, and for someone who can use their interpersonal skills and commercial mindset to add value to a fast‑growing business in an exciting sector.
