We are partnering with a highly successful international organisation to appoint a People Director to lead and evolve their global People function. This is a senior, strategic leadership role with real influence across the business. You’ll own the international people agenda, lead multiple specialist teams, and shape a future-focused people strategy that supports growth, performance, and culture across multiple markets. This role would suit a commercially minded HR leader who thrives in complex, international environments and enjoys building modern, high-impact People functions.
Reporting into the Group Chief People Officer, you will take full ownership of the international People agenda, leading and developing high-performing teams across:
- HR Business Partnering – ensuring strong strategic alignment with senior business leaders
- Compensation & Benefits – building competitive, equitable, and future-ready reward strategies
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding – driving global hiring strategies and employer positioning
- Talent Development – shaping learning, leadership, performance, and succession strategies to build a future-ready organisation
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the vision, strategy, and operating model for the People Centre of Excellence
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the People function
- Use data and analytics to inform decisions, measure impact, and improve outcomes
- Build a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance culture across the business
- Partner closely with senior leaders to deliver transformation and organisational change
Extensive experience in progressive HR / People leadership roles within international or matrix organisations. A strong track record in at least two of the following: HR Business Partnering, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding. Proven experience leading change, transformation, and organisational evolution. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. A data-driven, commercially minded approach to people strategy. A genuine passion for building inclusive, high-performing cultures.
What’s on offer?
An opportunity to build and shape the strategic HR vision within the business. This role does not offer a hybrid work pattern and does require someone in the office 5 days per week. This is the perfect role for a proven, global HR Director to join a well-established, but growing group with direct reporting line into the Group CPO. It would suit someone that is used to building out centres of expertise and bringing innovation to the senior leadership team. We are only considering candidates that are able to commit to 5 days per week in the office.
