Strong HR Business Partner with Financial / Professional Services Experience

We are partnering with an exciting Financial Services firm who are looking for an HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees, aligning HR practices with organizational goals while fostering a positive and productive workplace. You will lead ER initiatives, manage complex cases, and drive solutions that uphold compliance, fairness, and equity across the organization.

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR policies, talent strategies, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
  • Analyse HR metrics and data to provide actionable insights and drive decision-making.

Employee Relations (ER)

  • Manage and resolve complex ER issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations, ensuring compliance with labour laws and organizational policies.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on handling employee performance and conduct matters.
  • Develop and deliver training for managers and employees on ER topics, such as conflict resolution and workplace behaviour standards.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to employment regulations.

Change Management

  • Support organizational change initiatives by guiding leaders and teams through transitions, fostering engagement and resilience.
  • Promote a culture of continuous feedback, development, and improvement.
  • Support the business through any acquisitions / TUPE

Performance Management

  • Partner with managers to develop and implement effective performance improvement plans.
  • Conduct regular reviews of team and individual performance, offering insights and recommendations.

Education and Experience

  • CIPD HR certification is a plus.
  • Progressive HR experience, including significant expertise in Employee Relations.
  • Proven experience managing complex ER cases and providing pragmatic, business-aligned solutions.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
