3 days in the office in London Strong HR Business Partner with Financial / Professional Services Experience We are partnering with an exciting Financial Services firm who are looking for an HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees, aligning HR practices with organizational goals while fostering a positive and productive workplace. You will lead ER initiatives, manage complex cases, and drive solutions that uphold compliance, fairness, and equity across the organization. Strategic HR Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR policies, talent strategies, and workforce planning. Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with the company’s strategic goals. Analyse HR metrics and data to provide actionable insights and drive decision-making. Employee Relations (ER) Manage and resolve complex ER issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations, ensuring compliance with labour laws and organizational policies. Provide coaching and support to managers on handling employee performance and conduct matters. Develop and deliver training for managers and employees on ER topics, such as conflict resolution and workplace behaviour standards. Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to employment regulations. Change Management Support organizational change initiatives by guiding leaders and teams through transitions, fostering engagement and resilience. Promote a culture of continuous feedback, development, and improvement. Support the business through any acquisitions / TUPE Performance Management Partner with managers to develop and implement effective performance improvement plans. Conduct regular reviews of team and individual performance, offering insights and recommendations. Education and Experience CIPD HR certification is a plus. Progressive HR experience, including significant expertise in Employee Relations. Proven experience managing complex ER cases and providing pragmatic, business-aligned solutions. Skills and Competencies In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
