Job Description

My client is a well-known brand in the wider Reading area. They are seeking a HR Data & Insights Specialist to help shape the people strategy through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and automate data reporting processes, making insights easily accessible to HR and business leaders.
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards that tell compelling stories and drive strategic action.
  • Provide meaningful analysis to inform HR initiatives, from employee engagement to organisational development.
  • Improve data quality and ensure accuracy across multiple HR systems.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in HR analytics.
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance data literacy and self-service capabilities.

Role profile:

  • Proven experience in HR analytics, reporting, or a data-related role.
  • Strong technical skills in Power BI, Excel, SQL, or Python (bonus: SAP BW, Tableau, or Visual Basic).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive mindset—always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Experience in change management, process improvement, or automation is a plus.
