Based in central London, this role is suited to a commercially driven FP&A leader who thrives in a SAAS environment and enjoys operating close to the numbers. You will take ownership of critical planning and performance activities, helping shape forecasts, improve visibility into SAAS economics and increase the impact as well as visibility of financial insight supporting decision-making across the business. This role will see you work closely alongside senior finance leadership and partner extensively with GTM, Product, Customer and Ops teams. Working a hybrid model circa 3 days in the office, but with a strong approach to flexibility on both sides in relation to business demands/deadlines this is an exciting time as our client embarks on the next stage of growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead significant elements of the annual budget, rolling forecast and long-term planning cycles within a subscription-based business model.
- Build, manage and refine financial models that reflect SAAS growth dynamics.
- Produce monthly management reporting with clear analysis of variances, trends and underlying performance drivers.
- Develop and continuously enhance a comprehensive metrics suite covering areas such as ARR, NEE, Churn, CAC, LTV and sales productivity.
- Work closely with data and analytics teams to improve reporting automation, dashboarding and data reliability across finance and revenue systems.
- Deliver scenario analysis to support decisions around pricing, headcount growth, GTM investment and strategic initiatives.
- Act as a finance partner to functional leaders, helping them understand performance, plan effectively and evaluate returns on investment.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of FP&A processes, tools and reporting standards to support scale.
Experience and capabilities
- Demonstrated track record of operating in a subscription-based or recurring revenue business, with several years spent in an FP&A or commercially focused finance role.
- Strong practical understanding of how SAAS companies grow and scale.
- Hands-on ownership of financial models and forecasts that link GTM activity, customer behaviour and operating spend to ARR and cash outcomes.
- Confidence working directly with core SAAS performance indicators such as net revenue retention, churn, customer acquisition efficiency, lifetime value and sales productivity.
- Ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and distil it into clear narratives that support executive decision-making.
- Experience contributing to structured planning cycles, management reporting and ongoing performance tracking.
- Comfortable partnering with non-finance leaders, influencing decisions through insight rather than process alone.
- Highly organised, intellectually curious and comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving SAAS environment.
