JSS is helping an established corporate bank to hire a Financial Risk Manager in their 2nd LOD. This newly-created role is off the back of the bank's continued growth and investment into their Risk & Compliance function. The role would be based out of their London office, with a hybrid working model in place, and is ideal for a candidate with previous 2LOD experience and a focus on capital risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence with regulatory and internal requirements through challenging treasury and finance
  • Recommend limits for the bank's risk appetite
  • Review and challenge ALCO packs
  • Review, maintenance and development of risk policies relating to capital, market and liquidity risk
  • Provide documented assurance of ICAAP/ILAAP challenges
  • Pricing committee contribution and assurance for FTP assumptions

Requirements:

  • 2LOD experience, including exposure to capital/market/liquidity risk
  • Experience understanding regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to challenge/influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience with IRRBB

London based (2-3 days in per week) Base salary £70-80k
