Associate Director – JSS Financial Services – Insurance Finance Practice Lead – Interim Finance Specialist

London / Hybrid

Permanent | Competitive salary + bonus

A leading life insurance group is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to take ownership of planning, forecasting and performance analysis across UK and European entities. This is a high-impact role offering strong visibility with senior finance and actuarial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the expense budgeting, reforecasting and monthly performance cycle.
  • Produce clear analysis and commentary on cost drivers, variances and trends.
  • Work closely with actuarial colleagues to align expense inputs and allocations for Solvency II.
  • Enhance models, MI and reporting frameworks to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with local finance teams across Europe to ensure consistent, high-quality expense reporting.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Strong FP&A experience within life insurance or wider financial services.
  • Exposure to IFRS 17 and Solvency II
  • Excellent analytical, modelling and communication skills.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

This is a permanent appointment paying up to Β£100,000 + bonus + benefits.
