Looking for an FP&A to support the Head of Finance and the MD of Asset Management for a Real Estate Investment client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support property valuations, acquisitions, and dispositions.
- Manage the annual budgeting process to support the initiatives of the company and to serve as a strategic template for the growth of the business.
- Manage the monthly financial performance records and forecasting of business performance and prepare variance analysis and explanations for budget vs. actual performance for the property portfolio, consulting closely with managing agents as applicable.
- Assist the Finance Head in driving the improvement of cash flow performance and managing the liquidity needs of the company.
- Provide financial and business support to the Managing Director – Asset Management for both ongoing business and the evaluation of any new opportunities.
- Own and drive the short term and medium term cash forecasting process, updating & maintaining models.
- Support the Finance Head in accounting operations ensuring the integrity of the company’s financial data and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual statutory accounting preparation and long-term financial plans.
- Assist the Finance Head to manage the monthly reporting process, delivering timely, accurate information with appropriate commercial overlay to support the Board in its decision-making process.
- Provide financial expertise, information, and insight, and make recommendations with supporting data and rationale.
- Provide guidance to help the Managing Director – Asset Management and Finance Head propose the best financial decisions.
- Develop and cultivate strong relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external.
Qualifications:
- Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent.
- Property industry experience is preferred.
