I’m partnering with a growing SME bank currently looking to appoint a Finance Manager candidate to join their finance team on an initial 1 year FTC with a high chance of extension.

4 days a week in the office paying £80k.

This is a key role within a high-performing finance function that’s continuing to evolve, with ongoing investment in systems and processes. The successful candidate will support the delivery of financial and management reporting, ensuring accuracy, insight, and control across all areas of finance.

Key areas of focus

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, performance analysis, and board reporting packs.
• Contribution to statutory and regulatory reporting, including working with auditors.
• Support with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Continuous improvement of reporting and control processes within a developing finance environment.

Ideal profile

• Audit background or Banking experience highly sought after
• Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting and Excel skills, with a detail-driven, proactive approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to regulatory reporting or financial control is advantageous
