A growing investment platform is seeking a Senior Investment & Valuation Analyst to join its Strategic Finance function. This role is ideal for an analytically minded investment professional who enjoys deep valuation work, portfolio-level analysis, and developing robust financial models that directly inform senior leadership, investment committees, and shareholders. You will play a central role in the quarterly NAV and valuation process, enhance the modelling infrastructure used across the group, and help shape long-term strategic and financial decision‑making. What You’ll Do
- Valuation & Forecasting
- Lead and enhance complex Excel‑ and Python‑based valuation models for portfolio and group‑level analysis.
- Support the consolidation and delivery of the quarterly NAV process.
- Run long‑term growth forecasts, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to assess valuation impacts.
- Integrate new market, operational and financial inputs to improve forecast accuracy and decision‑useful outputs.
- Strategic Finance & Stakeholder Reporting
- Prepare detailed valuation materials, dashboards and reports for senior leadership, the Board, and shareholders.
- Support Investor Relations with both recurring and ad‑hoc analysis across the investment portfolio.
- Work closely with internal teams—including Investments, Asset Management, and Finance—to ensure consistent data and insight flow.
- Model & Process Improvement
- Build new data interfaces and automate processes to streamline valuation and reporting activities.
- Apply best‑practice software engineering techniques across financial models (incl. VBA, Python, SQL).
- Identify opportunities to modernise, improve efficiency and strengthen modelling governance.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in building, maintaining and improving complex financial and valuation models.
- Professional fluency in VBA, with working experience in Python and SQL.
- Solid understanding of valuation techniques, portfolio performance analytics and scenario analysis.
- Experience producing clear, insight‑driven dashboards or visualisations for senior stakeholders.
Professional Skills
- Strong analytical mindset, structured approach to problem‑solving and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
