JSS are working with a rapidly growing Lloyd\’s insurer for a Credit Controller. The successful candidate will join a high performing finance team responsible for processing insurance accounts, reconciling and settling balances within the reinsurance credit control function.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Act as a focal point for outward credit control matters across the insurer.
  • Process and reconcile insurance accounts written via the international offices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of premium and claims in accordance with treaty terms, escalating to Underwriters on an annual and quarterly basis.
  • Liaise with outsource providers in terms of timely allocation of Accounts Receivables.
  • Supporting change projects in the finance operations team to develop the Reinsurance reporting.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve complex discrepancies in collaboration with Brokers, Underwriters and Claims.
  • Monitor and contribute to meeting KPI’s in terms of the reduction of aged debt and unallocated cash within the group.
  • Drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives surrounding processes in relation to the reduction of aged debt, unallocated cash and queries specific to proportional treaty accounting.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have 1 – 5 years of Credit Control experience in insurance or financial services.
