The Category Manager will create and execute global sourcing strategies across the IT / Technology category. Develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies focused on cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
Manage IT spend across the organisation by collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, assess the supplier market, run sourcing exercises, negotiate terms, and establish contracts. Build strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains and secure favourable commercial outcomes.
Lead commercial efforts in key initiatives, such as a complex application decommissioning programme, by developing exit strategies for interrelated licenses and services.
