JSS Search are delighted to be supporting our client, a fast growth successful business based in Beaconsfield, on the recruitment of this new Finance Business Partner role. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and reporting costs; analysis and management reporting, actuals vs budget, great stakeholder management skills to support the commercial team and commercial acumen to help aid decision making.
Finance Business Partner Responsibilities
- Assist with, review, and oversee key month-end processes, including the preparation of monthly management packs.
- Provide accurate monthly cost analysis and reporting, including reconciliation of costs, revenue, and subcontractor accruals.
- Review, appraise and continuously improve financial processes & procedures.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with established financial processes and procedures.
- Lead and/or assist with balance sheet reviews, ensuring reconciliations are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Attend flash calls and monthly business unit meetings as finance representative.
- Turning data into insight (performance summaries, presentations) and make recommendations to improve business outcomes.
- Support divisional commercial leads with management reporting, understanding and insight.
- Partner/support forward view process and forecasts with robust review and challenge.
- Analyse contract/project risks, preparing regular reports and seeking to mitigate identified risks wherever possible.
- Maintain control and visibility over all contract/project costs to protect margins and ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare for audits and manage responses to audit requests, ensuring the business is compliant and audit ready.
- Coach, develop a small team including cost accountants.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 1-3 yrs post qualified experience.
- Experience business partnering with stakeholders; actuals vs budget, cost management etc.
- Experience of cost analysis and cost management is an advantage.
- Commercial acumen, ability to help ensure costs and margins are managed.

- Salary of circa Β£75,000-Β£80,000 plus bonus and benefits.
