My client are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide hands on support within the finance function. The role focuses on maintaining strong control across core processes, including cash management, month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and day to day finance operations. This is a practical, delivery focused role requiring someone comfortable taking ownership of BAU activities and ensuring continuity across reporting, controls, and finance administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Working Capital
- Own day-to-day cash and banking activities across multiple accounts.
- Monitor, record, and reconcile daily cash movements.
- Prepare bank transfers, deposits, and internal movements.
- Support daily and weekly cash-flow reporting to maintain visibility over liquidity and working capital.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations, resolving reconciling items promptly.
- Maintain accurate and well-controlled balance-sheet records in line with internal requirements.
- Month-End Reporting Support
- Play a key role in the month-end close, including preparation and posting of journals.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and regional cost allocations.
- Post key supplier invoices and support cost accuracy.
