We are partnering with a successful and growing organisation looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join their finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys balancing technical accounting responsibilities with business partnering and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger activities and month-end close processes
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial accounting records
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Prepare monthly and annual management reports
- Support year-end audit processes and tax reporting requirements
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Partner with senior leadership to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
- Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvement projects
- Evaluate financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
- Lead, coach and develop members of the finance team
- Support training, mentoring and performance development activities
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high-quality financial reporting
Candidate Profile:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing or mentoring finance team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
