Interim Finance Analyst – FTC

We are recruiting for an Interim Finance Analyst to join a successful and growing business. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you will take ownership of financial reporting, providing valuable insights, supporting forecasting and budgeting activities, and helping drive commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and present weekly and monthly financial reports, including detailed variance analysis against budget.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide accurate and meaningful financial information.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, presenting financial performance and contractual KPIs.
- Analyse costs, identify opportunities for optimisation, and support risk mitigation initiatives.
- Support month-end and year-end processes alongside the central finance team.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and commercial support to wider business functions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across finance to share best practice and drive continuous improvement.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear business insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Keen to learn, improve processes and challenge existing ways of working.
- Adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
