Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that precision and quality are maintained throughout the machining process. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Fanuc programming is essential.
Duties
- Responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Set up tooling and program in Fanuc & ISO.
- Working on small batch quantities.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined components to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in the production process.
- Utilise hand tools and basic maths skills for measuring and adjusting components as needed.
- Minimum 5 years\β experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
