JSP is a leading complex and catastrophic injury case management provider, specialising in acquired brain injury, spinal injury and amputee cases. We provide services across England and Scotland. We have an amazing opportunity for a Case Manager to join our Scotland team, the role is hybrid however there is an expectation of time being spent with our team at our Edinburgh office.

What you'll be working:

  • Full time 37.5 hours
  • Location: Scotland
  • Hybrid working with an expectation of time being spent at our Edinburgh office, clients will be from a wide geographical area, so driving is essential.

What you'll be doing:

As Case Managers, we work closely with clients and their families to assess rehabilitation needs, commission appropriate services, and lead multi-disciplinary teams, delivering tailored support within the community to help individuals achieve their optimum potential. Brain injury case management is a highly specialised role that goes beyond coordinating care; it involves comprehensive assessment of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs, setting meaningful goals, and ensuring interventions are evidence-based and client-focused. We advocate for our clients, navigate complex health, social care, and legal systems, and continuously monitor progress to adapt plans as needs evolve. Our ultimate aim is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives, maximise independence, and achieve outcomes that truly matter to them.

What you'll have:

  • Professionally qualified as a Social Worker, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Psychologist. Case management experience preferred but not essential.
  • Structured and logical thinking style that is comfortable operating both at a detailed level and at a directional level.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build therapeutic relationships quickly and have strong interpersonal skills with clients and professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills and also co-ordinate others when working to deadlines.
  • Ability to apply new learning to work situation.
  • Ability to transition from your current role into the role of Case Manager.
  • Must be IT literate and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult and at times, volatile situations.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience within your field of expertise.
  • Professionally Qualified within your field of expertise.
  • Full UK Driving License.
