A growing specialist business within the traditional sash window repair, restoration and replacement sector is looking to hire an Internal Sales & Sales Coordination Executive. Demand is strong, with a high volume of inbound enquiries generated through digital marketing, alongside increasing commercial and heritage-led opportunities. This role is central to controlling enquiries, qualifying leads correctly, converting opportunities efficiently, and developing outbound commercial relationships. This is a key operational and sales hire in a young, ambitious business with significant growth potential.
The Role
This is a hands-on internal sales role combining inbound enquiry handling, remote selling, outbound commercial activity, and sales coordination. You will take ownership of enquiries from first contact through to conversion or handover, ensuring every opportunity is handled correctly and followed through. Speed, accuracy, confidence and ownership are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Enquiry Handling & Appointment Booking
- Answer inbound calls and respond to website enquiries promptly
- Qualify all enquiries accurately at first contact
- For enquiries involving 3 or more windows: Qualify only
- Book appointments for field sales staff
- Follow defined booking rules with no discretion to override
- Ensure visits are booked accurately and efficiently
- Remote Internal Sales β Smaller or Distant Works
- Handle enquiries involving: 1β2 windows, or 3-window enquiries located over 150 miles away
- Request photographs via WhatsApp (internal, external, close-up and distance shots)
- Assess scope of works remotely
- Sell repair or renewal solutions over the phone
- Close deals without site visits where appropriate
- Outbound & Commercial Internal Sales
- Carry out proactive outbound calling to: Architects, Developers, Commercial and heritage-focused organisations
- Build relationships and generate new commercial opportunities
- Qualify projects and pass suitable opportunities to senior sales or management
- Sales Coordination & Pipeline Control
- Coordinate engineer surveys, site reports, pricing and proposals
- Chase actions and resolve delays quickly
- Maintain clear visibility of the sales pipeline and next actions
- Escalate issues where service levels or timelines are at risk

- Fast response times to all inbound enquiries
- Correct qualification and routing of every lead
- Strong conversion of 1β2 window enquiries through internal sales
- Efficient use of sales team time
