A friendly, well-established accountancy practice in Hazel Grove is seeking a Tax & Accounts Assistant Manager to manage a varied client portfolio and support a small team as the firm continues to grow.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies (FRS 102 / FRS 105)
- Corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
- Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
- Review work and assist with managing junior staff
- Liaise with clients and HMRC
- Attend client meetings when required
About You:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- AAT, ACA, ACCA or QBE
- Confident managing client relationships
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and MS Office
- Comfortable working independently and representing the firm
What’s on Offer:
- £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
- Hybrid working – 2 days from home
