A friendly, well-established accountancy practice in Hazel Grove is seeking a Tax & Accounts Assistant Manager to manage a varied client portfolio and support a small team as the firm continues to grow.

The Role:

  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients
  • Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies (FRS 102 / FRS 105)
  • Corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
  • Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
  • Review work and assist with managing junior staff
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC
  • Attend client meetings when required

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
  • AAT, ACA, ACCA or QBE
  • Confident managing client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and MS Office
  • Comfortable working independently and representing the firm
