Our client is a fast-growing leader in the energy reduction industry, having delivered some of the UK’s largest energy-saving rollouts. We are looking for a new Electrical Installation Engineer / Electrician to join their growing team. This is a remote role with daily travel in your region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified, time-served electrician to step into a role at the forefront of the sustainable energy sector. Working initially alongside an experienced VO (Voltage Optimisation) Electrical Installation Engineer, you’ll receive comprehensive, industry-specific training and manufacturer-led instruction to become a specialist in this rapidly growing field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install Voltage Optimisation and Power Correction systems at commercial and industrial sites
- Attend manufacturer and in-house training sessions to upskill in specialist technologies
- Regional travel, including overnight stays up to 3 nights per week
- Operate independently or as part of a team on client sites
- Collaborate remotely with the head office
What We’re Looking For in an Electrical Installation Engineer:
- Fully qualified electrician with a Level 3 Electrotechnical Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- NICEIC Inspection and Testing certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong initiative, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn
- Must be prepared to travel and stay away from home 1–3 nights per week
- Right to work in the UK (no dependents or student visas)
- VO/Power Correction experience is a bonus – but not required; full training provided
