My client is looking for a Junior Product Specialist to join their team. This position would suit someone who is looking for a career within product, has had some kind of administration role recently, and is now looking to find a career where they can learn and develop.

About the Role

The Junior Product Specialist role is the next step in your Product Development journey.

You will begin moving from supporting product creation into actively creating products, taking ownership of smaller ranges, projects and development opportunities.

Working closely with Senior Product Specialists, you will develop your understanding of how successful product ranges are built, from identifying trends and opportunities through to costing, supplier development and launch.

You will start to build your own product expertise, learning how to balance creativity with commercial thinking and how every detail contributes to creating a successful range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage smaller product ranges and development projects.
  • Work alongside Senior Product Specialists on key brands.
  • Develop understanding of product specifications and technical requirements.
  • Support costing processes and supplier conversations.
  • Build knowledge of manufacturing processes and product components.
  • Research competitors, trends and market opportunities.
  • Bring new ideas and inspiration into product discussions.
  • Partner with Design teams to help bring concepts to life.
  • Support internal reviews and customer presentations.
