JSM Group is a leading utilities infrastructure provider delivering complex telecoms and civils projects across the UK. As part of our continued growth, we’re on the lookout for an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Project Coordinator to support our delivery teams across multiple high-impact projects.

Scope of Role

Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you'll play a key role in coordinating the successful delivery of telecommunications and civils installation works. From managing documentation and tracking progress to liaising with clients and stakeholders, you’ll be at the centre of ensuring our projects run smoothly, safely, and on time.

How you’ll succeed

  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and resourcing requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation – permits, RAMS, reports, trackers
  • Coordinate communication between clients, internal teams, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project milestones and escalation issues where needed
  • Support material, equipment, and labour allocation for multiple sites
  • Track budgets, process invoices, and help manage cost control
  • Ensure compliance with NRSWA, CDM, and SHEQ standards
  • Maintain records across project management systems and ensure accurate reporting
  • Support quality assurance and promote continuous improvement across projects

What it takes

  • 1–5 years’ experience in project coordination or admin (telecoms/utilities/civils preferred)
  • Familiarity with fibre optic or 5G infrastructure projects
  • Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure and juggling multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); PM tools (e.g. MS Project or Primavera) a plus
  • HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar – or equivalent experience
  • Full UK driving licence (site travel required)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of NRSWA & CDM Regs
  • Experience working with NEC contracts
  • Proactive, adaptable, and confident, working independently or as part of a wider team
