The Role
Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a Senior Environmental Planning Consultant to join their UK team. You’ll work across sectors including property, infrastructure, and energy, with flexibility to be based in London, Birmingham, or Manchester (other locations considered with some client travel).
You will play a key role in delivering and coordinating environmental planning projects, with responsibilities including:
- Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Managing project deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Preparing high-quality EIA reports, scoping studies, and environmental statements.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulators.
- Supporting business development and contributing to work-winning.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A relevant degree and ideally membership of IEMA/ISEP or Chartered Environmentalist status.
- 5+ years’ experience in environmental planning/EIA.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and EIA regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset, with the confidence to think creatively and deliver better outcomes for clients.
