Exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Assessor to join this leading civil engineering and construction firm within the rail sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in driving environmental compliance, sustainability, and Net Zero initiatives across major UK rail projects.
The role will involve:
- Environmental compliance & risk management
- ISO 14001 audits & inspections
- Supporting sustainability & carbon reduction initiatives
- Developing and reviewing EMPs/ESMPs
- Working closely with project teams, clients & regulators
- Driving continuous improvement across multiple projects
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience within rail, infrastructure, or construction
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation
- ISO 14001 experience
- Environmental auditing experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Network Rail / Tier 1 contractor experience
- RISQS knowledge
- PTS certification
- Sustainability / Net Zero reporting experience
