The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the distribution and logistics operation. Your work will ensure goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and safely, helping deliver a reliable service to customers.
You will be involved in both inbound and outbound activity and will use mechanical handling equipment as part of your role, with a strong focus on health and safety and good housekeeping.
What You Will Be Doing
- Loading and unloading vehicles, including large goods vehicles
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving, checking and putting away inbound goods
- Operating mechanical handling equipment including pallet trucks and forklifts
- Controlling and recording goods inwards
