Our client, a world-renowned manufacturer of premium automotive products, is looking for an Area Business Manager to cover Northern England & Scotland. With over 100 years of success, they are known for their high-quality products, market-leading customer service, and strong presence in the independent automotive aftermarket.

What’s the role about?

You’ll be managing an established customer base of motor factors, building strong relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. It’s a field-based role, so you’ll have the freedom to manage your own schedule, ensuring you’re making the most of your time in front of customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Looking after existing motor factor accounts and making sure they get the best service.
  • Spotting new sales opportunities and growing the brand’s presence.
  • Attending industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to connect with customers.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure customers’ needs are met.
  • Analysing sales data to identify trends and ways to improve performance.

What we’re looking for:

  • A natural relationship-builder with experience in a customer-facing sales role.
  • Confident negotiator who can engage with people at all levels.
  • Proactive and organised, able to manage your own schedule effectively.
  • Experience in the independent automotive aftermarket is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Willing to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas.
