Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Staff Nurse for our chemo day care unit in London. The role offers a permanent position with a salary of up to £43,000 per annum DOE plus benefits.As Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for working in a supporting experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care. This includes meeting patients\’ medical, physical, and emotional needs by effectively communicating with them and their families.As deputy to the sister/charge nurse, the senior staff nurse ensures the highest standards of clinical care are delivered. This involves being an advocate for the patient, working within the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the unit.We understand that cancer care is a challenging field, and our friendly team works closely together to adopt a supportive culture.Responsibilities and Requirements The ideal candidate will have:NMC registered NurseExperienced/competent in Chemotherapy administrationPost registration experience within haematology or oncology setting or equivalentClinical skills in venepuncture, cannulation, and the administration of intravenous drugsWide and evidence-based knowledge of systemic anti-cancer treatmentsWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
