Our client, an award-winning and forward-thinking legal practice, is seeking a Property Finance Fee Earner to join their growing Real Estate Finance department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual with a background in residential or commercial property finance to join a dynamic team focused on delivering outstanding service to clients and achieving operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their legal career within a progressive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of property finance transactions, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
Working alongside the Partner and Head of Department, the Property Finance Fee Earner will play a key role in supporting lender clients, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of client care.
Responsibilities:- Managing a caseload of property finance transactions from inception to completion.
- Acting for lenders in secured lending transactions, including buy-to-let, bridging loans, and refinance matters.
- Liaising with borrowers, lenders, brokers, surveyors, and other professionals.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and reports, including certificates of title and security documentation.
- Conducting due diligence, including title investigation and searches.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to lender panel requirements.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the department’s overall performance and client satisfaction.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential or commercial property, ideally with a focus on property finance.
- Must be a billable fee earner.
- Familiarity with lender panel requirements and reporting procedures.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
