The Opportunity
I’m looking for an experienced and confident Credit Controller to join their vibrant finance team in Central Manchester. The role will suit someone who’s not only comfortable managing accounts and securing payments, but who can also collaborate well across teams and contribute to a supportive, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of debtor accounts and ensure timely payment
- Follow up with clients regarding overdue invoices in a professional and persistent manner
- Deal with payment queries from both private clients and trade customers
- Make sure all accounts operate within agreed terms
- Resolve non-payment issues efficiently
- Make outbound calls to secure payments, while maintaining excellent customer relationships
- Accurately process payments through the internal system

- Experience: Previous background in credit control, accounts receivable, or similar finance role
