About the Role
Are you an experienced Water Treatment Engineer ready to step into a lead or supervisory role? This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading water treatment company, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, offering long-term stability and clear progression. Covering Glasgow and the wider Central Belt, you'll deliver hands-on water treatment and compliance services while leading and supervising a small team of three less experienced engineers, acting as the technical and operational lead within the territory.

Key Responsibilities
As Lead Water Treatment Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering water treatment services across Glasgow and the Central Belt
- Closed loop analysis and testing
- Cooling tower analysis and inspection
- Water softener servicing and maintenance
- General plumbing works
- TMV servicing
- Tank cleaning and disinfection
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
In addition, you will:
- Supervise, mentor, and support 3 junior/less experienced engineers
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex jobs
- Support workload planning, quality control, and compliance across the territory
- Lead by example, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction
You’ll manage your own workload, operate independently from home, and work closely with key clients and internal management.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Proven experience as a Water Treatment Service Engineer
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Cooling towers
- Water softeners
- Plumbing works
- Closed loop systems
