Legionella Training Managers play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and minimising the risk of Legionnaires' disease in various facilities. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive training programs on Legionella awareness, prevention, and management. Coordinate and conduct training sessions for employees, contractors, and stakeholders. Stay updated on current regulations and guidelines related to Legionella control. Collaborate with internal teams to assess training needs and develop customised training materials. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback. Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress. Provide guidance and support to facilities in implementing Legionella control measures. Act as a subject matter expert on Legionella for internal and external inquiries. Conduct periodic audits and inspections to ensure compliance with training protocols and regulatory standards. Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and industry best practices.Skills Required/Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field would be highly desirable. Certification in Legionella management (e.g., Legionella Risk Assessment, Legionella Control Association training) is preferred. Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in Legionella management or water hygiene. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Legionella. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
