The Job Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments across a variety of client sites throughout London and the South East.
Assess domestic hot and cold-water systems and other water systems in line with current legislation and guidance.
Produce clear, detailed and technically robust risk assessment reports.
Identify compliance issues and provide practical recommendations for remedial actions and risk reduction.
Create and update schematic drawings to accurately reflect water system layouts.
Build strong working relationships with clients, explaining findings and recommendations clearly and professionally.
Manage your own diary and workload, travelling between sites while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Support ongoing compliance programmes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor or within the water hygiene industry.
City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent.
Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
Experience producing or interpreting schematic drawings of water systems.
Understanding of domestic hot and cold-water systems; experience with cooling towers or other water systems would be advantageous.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Self-motivated, organised and capable of working independently.
Full UK driving licence.
Based within approximately one hour of Central London.

Strong knowledge of HSG274 Parts 1, 2 and/or 3.

Membership of, or engagement with, relevant industry bodies such as the Water Management Society.
