Are you an experienced Water Treatment Account Manager looking to join one of the UKs leading water treatment companies? This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow industrial water treatment accounts across the South West, working with customers operating steam boilers, cooling towers, and closed systems. Youll inherit established accounts while also developing new business across the region.

The Role:

  • As Water Treatment Account Manager, youll manage and grow industrial water treatment accounts across Exeter and the South West.
  • Working with customers operating steam boilers, cooling towers, and associated industrial process systems.
  • Split between account management and business development activities.
  • Develop long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow spend across your customer base.
  • Sell a full range of water treatment chemicals, monitoring solutions, and service contracts.
  • Supported by an experienced technical and operations team.
  • Manage your own diary and territory with a high level of autonomy.
  • Home-based role with regular travel across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and the wider South West region.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous sales or account management experience within the Water Treatment industry.
  • Experience working with industrial water treatment customers, particularly steam boilers and cooling towers.
  • Strong relationship-building and commercial skills.
  • Comfortable managing existing accounts while actively developing new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
  • Science-related qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
  • Based in Exeter or elsewhere within the South West.
