The Role As a Graduate Technical Specialist , you will work closely with customers across Kent and South Essex , providing technical support and helping to ensure their water treatment systems operate effectively.
You will develop your technical knowledge through hands-on experience while building strong relationships with customers and experienced professionals within the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing technical service and support to customers
Visiting customer sites to investigate and help resolve technical issues
Carrying out site surveys, system audits and product/application assessments
Supporting customers with water treatment problems and identifying appropriate solutions
Developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems
Providing technical advice to customers and internal teams
Supporting the Sales team with technical input for new business proposals
Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and system performance
Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
Working autonomously and managing your own schedule across the territory
Providing on-site and telephone support where required
Working in accordance with company health, safety and environmental standards
Training & Development You will receive a comprehensive training programme designed to give you the technical knowledge, practical experience and commercial understanding required to become a successful water treatment professional.
Training will include:
Water treatment chemistry and applications
Industrial water treatment systems
Site surveys and technical audits
Problem solving and technical project management

You'll work alongside experienced professionals while gaining valuable hands-on experience with customers and a wide range of water treatment applications.
About You We're looking for a technically minded graduate who enjoys solving problems, working with customers and learning how things work .
You will ideally have:
A degree in Chemistry, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
A genuine interest in developing a career within water treatment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The confidence to work independently in a field-based environment
A willingness to travel throughout the territory
A full UK driving licence
Previous experience in water treatment, engineering, technical service, field sales or a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
