We are recruiting a Business Development Manager to sell high-value laboratory consumables for environmental, water, and analytical testing laboratories across the UK. These products are essential to laboratory workflows, used in sample preparation before analysis, making them critical consumables for laboratories carrying out routine testing.

The Role:
- Developing new business with laboratories and testing facilities
- Managing and growing key laboratory accounts
- Selling lab filtration and sample preparation consumables
- Supporting laboratories with product validation and implementation
- Building long-term relationships with lab managers, analysts, and procurement teams
- Identifying opportunities to expand product usage across laboratory sites
Products:
- Filter membranes
- Filter papers
- Syringe filters
- Laboratory filtration consumables
- Sample preparation products used before analysis
These products are widely used in environmental testing, water analysis, and laboratory research.
Customers:
Customers include environmental laboratories, water testing laboratories, water utilities, and analytical testing facilities across the UK. Several major laboratory groups have recently been onboarded, creating strong opportunities to grow existing accounts while developing new business nationally.
About You:
This role would suit someone with experience in:
- Laboratory consumables sales
- Scientific or technical sales
- Lab equipment or laboratory supplies
- Environmental or water testing markets
You may currently work as a:
