Job Description:

  • Provide on-site maintenance and support for a wide range of combustion equipment and plant.
  • Respond promptly to customer callouts, participating in an on-call rotation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair combustion, boiler, and process plant machinery.
  • Install, commission, and service equipment.
  • Conduct testing and monitoring of plant performance.
  • Generate regular customer reports and feedback.
  • Propose upgrades and suggest energy-saving measures.
  • Foster strong customer relationships.
  • Contribute valuable feedback on products.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Travel locally, with occasional overnight stays.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience working as a Commercial or Industrial Gas Engineer
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Gas qualifications such as COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1 (preferred).
  • Advantageous skills in both electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Accuracy in working at speed with a diverse set of responsibilities.
  • Eagerness to undertake relevant training for continuous skill development.
