On behalf of my client, we are on the lookout for an ambitious consultant with a minimum of 2 years solid industry experience and a passion for Ecology to join their recently formed team. With a portfolio of prestigious projects and a dynamic environment, you\’ll be working alongside many of the industry\’s best EIA practitioners and within a growing team of ecologists

Responsibilities & Tasks
· Lead and coordinate technical aspects of various ecology projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
· Drive the technical quality of surveys, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining compliance with ecological legislation.
· Collaborate with project stakeholders to achieve environmental protection goals and deliver exemplary outcomes for our clients.
· Support the mentoring of junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
· Support on client relationships and contribute to bid preparation.
· Champion the teams\’ capabilities internally and externally, promoting services to clients and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
· Hold a degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or related field, with membership or eligibility to join the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
· Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in UK consultancy
· Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
· Show proficiency in data management, wildlife legislation, ecological survey methods, and mitigation measures.
· Hold a full UK driver\’s license and have expertise in bat sound analysis and GIS skills.
