My client is a well-established and highly respected consultancy operating across the built and natural environment. They are currently experiencing a sustained period of growth, with a strong pipeline of work across infrastructure, water, transport, aviation, and energy sectors.

This is a senior, client-facing role offering the opportunity to lead and shape environmental delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
  • Preparing and reviewing Environmental Statements and associated documentation
  • Managing multidisciplinary project teams and technical inputs
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting business development, bids, and client growth
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members

You will work across a range of sectors, including:

  • Transport (road, rail, light rail)
  • Water and utilities
  • Energy and renewables (onshore wind, solar, battery storage)
  • Aviation
  • Residential and mixed-use development

  • Proven experience delivering and leading EIAs within the UK
  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning and consenting process
  • Background in environmental consultancy across infrastructure or development
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

  • Experience in renewables, water, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Chartered (or working towards chartership)
  • Commercial awareness and experience supporting business development
