As part of a dynamic Environmental Management and Assessment Team, a seasoned Environmental Planning professional is sought to provide expertise to a wealth of complex and rewarding projects.
Location: Birmingham, Manchester, Wakefield
The successful candidate will be a pivotal member in the national team, with a particular focus on expanding the firm's presence in the North / Midlands. This role demands a proactive individual capable of working collaboratively with clients and multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of technical input into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for Infrastructure, Water, Aviation and Development sectors.
Imagine contributing to a variety of projects, leading environmental deliverables in sectors such as road, water, rail, and housing. The role extends beyond technical prowess, encompassing account and client management, business development, and marketing initiatives to elevate the service line.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating EIAs
- Preparing environmental statements and risk assessments
- Ensuring technical excellence
- Business development

- Bid preparation

- Mentoring within the team
Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years' experience in environmental roles, a deep understanding of the UK planning system, and practical EIA experience. A degree in Environmental Science or similar, membership in a relevant environmental body, and a full UK driver's licence are essential. Chartered status is preferred.
