Overview Exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Site Support professional to join a pioneering carbon capture and storage project in Cheshire. This 3-year contract is site-based, requiring daily on-site presence, and is suited to candidates within 1 hours commute of the site ( North Liverpool ). As Environmental Site Support, you will work closely with and report to the Environmental Manager to ensure the project remains compliant with all relevant environmental regulations and agreed mitigation measures. Responsibilities Assisting the Environmental Manager in implementing the site inspection and monitoring the onshore programme. Carrying out routine on-site environmental checks in line with the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and the Register of Environmental Actions and Commitments (REAC). Supporting the identification and reporting of any deviations from approved environmental procedures, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up actions are recorded. Providing on-the-ground support to ensure environmental mitigation measures are effectively implemented by contractors. Assisting in the preparation of site reports and updates for regulatory bodies such as Natural Resources Wales (NRW) and local authorities under the direction of the Environmental Manager. Liaising with specialist environmental consultants as required for specific tasks under the supervision of the Environmental Manager.
