We are seeking an experienced and proactive EHS Consultant to join our clients UK consulting team, based in the Southeast. The Role
As an EHS Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting multinational clients with the development, implementation, and ongoing management of global EHS programmes. Your work will span:
· EHS regulatory compliance
· Management systems (ISO 45001)
· Development of written policies and procedures
· Ergonomics and workplace assessments
· Staff training and awareness initiatives
This position offers a high level of autonomy, with the opportunity to lead tasks and projects, liaise directly with client stakeholders, and contribute to the success of complex EHS programmes across global operations.
We’re looking for someone who is:
· Confident working independently on complex assignments
· A strong organiser, able to manage projects and collaborate effectively with teams
· Skilled in technical report writing and able to make sound, insightful recommendations
· Comfortable interfacing with clients and contributing to high-impact solutions
· Enthusiastic about fostering a positive, inclusive, and professional working culture
· Willing to travel to client sites and offices as required (approx. 25%)
Qualifications & Experience
· Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Ergonomics, or related field
· Minimum 3 years\’ experience in an EHS consulting or industry-based role
· NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (or relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications)
· Ergonomics/DSE qualification and experience is highly desirable
· Strong knowledge of UK and international EHS legislation, guidance, and compliance standards
· Membership of a relevant professional body is preferred
