My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing environmental team, delivering contaminated land, groundwater remediation and environmental restoration projects across the UK.

The Role

  • You'll manage projects from initial site investigation through to remediation and validation, working with clients, contractors, regulators and internal teams to deliver successful environmental outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing contaminated land and groundwater remediation projects.
  • Leading Phase I and Phase II site investigations.
  • Producing technical reports, remediation strategies and validation reports.
  • Preparing cost proposals, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Supervising site investigations, remediation works and environmental monitoring.
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, local authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with current environmental legislation.

About You

  • At least two years' experience in contaminated land, remediation or environmental consultancy.
  • Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and risk assessment.
  • Experience of remediation projects and ideally oil spill response.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Experience working on insurance-led remediation projects would be an advantage but isn't essential.
