The Role
This is a broad and varied position offering exposure to air quality, climate change and wider environmental projects across sectors including infrastructure, transport, development and renewables. You will play a key role in delivering technical work, supporting project management and contributing to the continued growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering air quality and odour assessments across a range of projects
- Preparing technical reports, including EIA chapters, dispersion modelling and monitoring studies
- Supporting climate change assessments, including carbon and emissions considerations within projects
- Undertaking dispersion modelling using tools such as ADMS or AERMOD
- Managing project inputs, timelines and budgets
- Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
- Contributing ideas to support the growth of air quality and climate services
- Supporting junior team members where appropriate
About You
- Degree qualified in an environmental, scientific or engineering discipline
- Around 2–5 years’ experience in air quality or environmental consultancy
- Experience with dispersion modelling (ADMS/AERMOD)
- Familiarity with LAQM, EIA and environmental regulations
- An interest in or exposure to climate change / carbon assessment
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach
