I’m working with a firm of solicitors based in Shenfield, who pride themselves on providing a complete service to both business and private clients with a traditional approach. The successful candidate will be managing their own caseload of residential property files. You will be self-motivated with a commitment to delivering an excellent service to clients. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a strong department and have an active hand in the development and expansion of the team. The prime role of a Fee Earner is to advise and assist clients in pursuit of their best interests, and in comprehensive support and assistance to the Residential Property team.
The Role
- To generate fee income by taking responsibility for the conduct of conveyancing cases on behalf of clients.
- To assist other members of the firm on subjects of expertise.
- Advise and assist clients on legal matters relating to those areas of expertise in Conveyancing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and with other professional contacts.
- Keep abreast of developments in the law in related subjects as necessary, taking responsibility for self-development and ensuring CPD is observed.
- To ensure firm’s procedures are followed when recording time and managing the billing process.
The Candidate Required qualifications, skills and experience
- A Minimum of 3 years Plus experience in Residential Property environment. Our client will consider Licenced Conveyancers, Solicitors or Legal Executives.
- You will possess the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Self-motivated, organised with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
- Proactive thinker.
